Our Story
Welcome to KCC Bakery, a family-run cottage bakery in Omaha, NE. We’re a made-to-order bakery — not a walk-in storefront — which means everything we bake is fresh, intentional, and prepared just for you. You’ll find us offering porch pickups on select weekends or at local markets and events (check our monthly schedule on Facebook or here on the website to see what’s coming up).

KCC Bakery started as my little passion project straight out of high school — after one random cake-decorating class in Home Ec sparked something I couldn’t ignore. What began with scratch-made cakes and cupcakes grew into a full-blown love for sourdough, and today, that spark has turned into loaves, bagels, cinnamon rolls, and plenty of sweet treats.

This bakery isn’t just me, though — it’s family. I’m Kelsay Cosgrove, the face behind the sourdough starter, and I bake alongside my sisters, Angelique Hudson and McKenna Combs-Brown, who specialize in the sweet side of things. Together, we run KCC Bakery as a true family team, balancing life, kids, and flour-covered counters along the way.

We put our heart (and sometimes a little sarcasm) into every bake, because for us it’s more than bread — it’s about family, community, and creating something homemade that brings people together. Someday, we’d love to grow into a farmstead bakery, sourcing everything locally, straight from our dirt to your table. 🌱
