HOW DOES ORDERING WORK?
KCC Bakery is a small-batch, home-based sourdough bakery. Everything is baked fresh to order using high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients.
Orders open every Saturday at 6:00 PM.
Orders close every Wednesday at noon.
All orders are placed and paid for online.
Payment is required to confirm your order.
A bakery closure week will always be announced in advance if there will not be preorders available.
What can I order?
We offer a core menu of sourdough breads, bagels, pastries, and baked goods that are available regularly.
In addition, you’ll find:
* Rotating seasonal flavors each month
* Limited-time specialty items
* Weekly exclusive menu items announced when orders open
Because we bake in small batches, some specialty items may have limited availability.
When and where do I pick up my order?
KCC Bakery is a made-to-order bakery, which means we don’t have a traditional retail storefront. Every order is baked fresh and available by pre-order only.
Pickup locations vary depending on the week and the events we’re attending. During checkout, you’ll be able to select the pickup option that’s most convenient for you.
Typical pickup options include:
Front Porch Pickup near 144th & Ida Street (Bennington/North Omaha)
Highland House in Elkhorn
Weekend Event Pickup when we’re attending a local market or event
Our standard pickup windows are typically:
* Saturdays: 8:00–10:00 AM
* Saturdays: 3:00–6:00 PM
You can also find us at select:
* Farmers markets
* Pop-up events
* Community events
* Seasonal markets
& at our wholesale partners’ locations.
Our monthly schedule is always posted on Facebook, Instagram, and here on the website.
Pickup details and instructions will be provided with your order confirmation.
Cancellations & Missed Pickup:
Because everything is prepared specifically for your order:Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pickup may be eligible for a partial refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may receive a partial credit toward a future order.
If you are unable to make your scheduled pickup time, please reach out as soon as possible.If a pickup needs to be rescheduled, a new pickup time must be agreed upon by both parties.
Due to the nature of fresh-baked goods, we cannot guarantee availability for missed pickups that have not been communicated in advance.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
Can I place a custom, bulk, or gift order?
Yes.
Bulk orders are available for:
* Corporate gifts
* Teacher gifts
* Client appreciation gifts
* Holiday gifting
* Special events
Custom gift packaging, cards, and delivery options may be available upon request. We also offer wholesale partnerships for those wanting to retail KCC Bakery’s goods. We partner with cafes and other local businesses.
Please contact us for large orders to ensure availability.

Because our products are made without commercial preservatives, they are best enjoyed fresh.
Most items are best enjoyed within 3–4 days of pickup.
For longer storage, we recommend freezing.
Care, storage, and freezing instructions can be found on our website and may vary by product.

Absolutely.
Many of our sourdough products freeze beautifully and maintain their quality when properly stored.
For best results:
Freeze products as soon as possible after pickup if they won’t be enjoyed within a few days.
Store in an airtight freezer-safe bag or container.
Follow the specific thawing and reheating instructions provided for each product.

We use clean, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and avoid commercial preservatives whenever possible.

We occasionally offer select gluten-free items when noted on the menu.
Please note:
KCC Bakery is not a gluten-free kitchen.
While we take precautions such as:
Separate preparation days
Dedicated utensils and pans
Separate baking times
We cannot guarantee that products are completely free from cross-contact with gluten.

Traditional sourdough bread contains wheat flour and is not gluten-free.
However, the natural fermentation process may make sourdough easier to digest for some individuals compared to conventional bread. Every person’s dietary needs are different, so please consult your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns.
